This object is the outcome of a playful three-dimensional study in conceptual interests, different materials, appearance, light and reflection. The manipulation of these aspects was realized into a sculptural 'collage', which consists out of a chrome coated motorcycle lift and a plexiglass structure that transmits & reflects light in every direction. We approached the design of this object by omitting the definition of what an object can be (or should be) used for. Because this object can be adjusted in height and different artifacts can be placed into the plexiglass structure, there is an interaction between object, subject, function and space that leaves participators to discover and play. Made in collaboration with Daniel De Jong.
